What a day we had today!
Shirley worked us like slaves in a sweat shop!
A fabulous group of ladies turned up at this month's Craft Day to sew and fill bags containing emergency supplies for victims of domestic violence.
Some members cut them out .....
others manned the sewing machines ......
or threaded the cord .....
or ironed the finished product.
Then another group formed a production line to fill the bags with essential items to help victims of domestic violence through their first few harrowing days in emergency accommodation.
The pile of filled bags gradually grew.
On the day we made 50 bags and filled 30 of them.
