Our first meeting next year ( 11th February ) will be devoted to working on our group project- the quilt for DV Connect.
These are some of the other activities in the pipeline.
1. Embroidery - Grub Roses
2. Making "yoyos "
3. Charity Challenge - probably wheelchair bags
4. Learning these quilting blocks : nine patch block, heart block, bow tie block, Shooting star block, Evening Star block - these blocks plus another couple can be made into this quilt
.............. or can be made into cushions, wheelchair bags etc.
5. Hexagons- making and using these in quilts, bags, etc
6. Christmas tassels
