Wecome back!
2013 is going to be a big year for Moggill CWA and the February Social set the scene.
A large number of ladies were soon chattering and laughing as they caught up with fellow members and all their news - Christmas, floods, new grandchildren and projects - all topics for discussion around the room.
It was lovely to see some new faces amongst us too.
Interest was added to the day in the form of demonstrations using Dairy Products.
We learnt how to make labna - you may know it as Baker's Cheese or Quark
Ricotta was prepared.
Delicious smoothies were created
and tasted...
and butter was churned
with surprising ease.
There were talks about cheeses , the different types and origins.
There was a small display of items being considered for a stall later in the year -
more about that later!
These are Fiddle Aprons.
We will be making these on Craft Day as one of our Charity projects for 2013
