Hello Ladies of Moggill QCWA. Welcome to our newsletter. Here you will find out what HAS happened at Moggill QCWA activities and what is PLANNED to happen in the future. Stay tuned. If you have any photos or information you would like to have included in this blog please contact Helen
Moggill Branch was established 2003. From the original 25 members the branch has grown to be almost 100 members. Members range in age and are from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. They enjoy friendship and a strong sense of community in the semi-rural part of Brisbane.
The Branch holds a monthly Branch meeting on the 3rd Thursday morning of each month, they also hold special social nights which include a meal and a guest speaker. Interest groups include patchwork & handcraft; a history group which is researching pioneer families of Moggill (the information is used by the memory quilters to honour these families with a commemorative quilt); drama; choir; Mahjong; Bridge; and a cookery group.
New members are always welcome. Be their guest for the day - they'd love to hear from you.
