On the second Thursay of the month the handcraft group meets to work on many varied projects.

KNITWITS

Our knitters and crocheters have been hard at work creating lovely rugs.

CHARITY CHALLENGE

This year our Charity Challenge was to sew Turbans for Cancer Sufferers. With material in three colours - black, navy and purple supplied by the Cancer Council, a willing band of workers set about the task in great spirits.


There were instructors, pinners, machine sewers and hand sewers on a very efficient production line and in no time over 50 turbans were completed.

A great result and lots of fun.
