DIVISION HANDCRAFT WORKSHOP

The Division Handcraft Committee ran a handcraft workshop over two days –
3 & 4 May.
 
The talented team of tutors.
 
 
On offer were these:
 
 
Calligraphy,

Crazypatch embellishment,
 
 
Goldwork,

 
Elizabethan embroidery.
 
 
Daisywheel, 
 
Rag rug,

Wessex embroidery,
 

 
Not forgetting the food !

 
 
 
It was a great weekend and there was very positive feedback.
 Everyone enjoyed themselves and learned a lot.

BIGGEST MORNING TEA FOR CANCER

 
 
 
 
 
1st May was a BIG day.
 
 First there were the Photography finals,
 
 
then it was also the Big Morning Tea for Cancer, where everyone was asked to wear something pink. Prize for the best lady - which Margaret won.
 
 Also there was a bit of knitting going on as well.
 
 
Something for everyone.
 
 
  Not sure what those ladies were up to, practicing a Can-Can line up?




 

COOKERY COMPETITION - APRIL

 
The branch Cookery Competition required careful judging !

APRIL CRAFT DAY

 

One of the jobs undertaken today was the making of blue patchwork tablecloths
for use in all sorts of situations within the Moggill group.
