SUCCESSFUL SOIREE

Recently the Annual Soiree was held at the Bellbowrie Community Centre.
An appreciative audience was treated to a night of lovely music from our own CWA Choir and hilarious skits staged by our Drama Queens.
It was a very happy occasion, enjoyed by all.

We have some very talented people at Moggill CWA.

Well done all of you.

CRAFT DAY CHRISTMAS BREAK-UP

The Craft Day's Christmas Break-up will be held on Thursday 9th December at Christine's house.

As you know Christine goes to a tremendous amount of trouble to decorate her house for Christmas and she will once again be raising money for charity by charging an entrance fee on the day.

The break-up will be in the form of a bring-a-plate lunch.
Please fill out Helen's catering sheet so we can plan the lunch.
With all the good cooks in our group we always have a feast.

Don't forget to bring any completed Christmas projects along for Show and Tell

CHRISTMAS BREAK-UP

Our Branch Christmas Break-up is to be a luncheon at the Bellbowrie  Sports & Rec. on the 3rd of December.
Tickets must be prepaid for catering purposes.
See Mary T for tickets

MITCHELL REGONAL MEETING

Recently a group of members travelled to Mitchell for the Regional Meeting.

They travelled out by car navigating via round-about roads dodging floodwaters to get there.

While there, the Moggill ladies put on a Fashion Parade to entertain the other ladies at the meeting.

Here are some photos of our models and their lovely outfits.

I'm sure they will be in demand for future assignments !!

SEPTEMBER CRAFT DAY

We began our Craft Day this month with a selection of projects to choose from for our Christmas projects this year.  YES IT IS GETTING CLOSER !!!

There were quite a few brilliant projects to choose from.

A Christmas tree wall hanging made from "yo-yos"

.... a lovely table runner / wall hanginging featuring patchworked Christmas trees

and a delightful  appliqued Christmas banner

There were three projects featuring hexagons.

This one featured tiny hexies.

We finally chose the patchwork table runner, the hexagon Christmas tree and the Christmas banner for our projects.
If you would like to join us next Craft Day there will be willing helpers to show you how to make these lovely Christmas projects.

Contact Helen for a list of requirements.

And finally, two lovely quilts with an African theme were presented at Show and Tell.
