IRISH MORNING TEA

As the country of study this year is Ireland, our International Morning tea was a blaze of emarald green.

Decoration, food and clothing all reflected the country of study.

There were puzzles, Irish jokes and interesting information on life in Ireland
and light-hearted entertainment provided by our own Drama Queens.

and we finished off with an Irish sing-a-long.......

before we all tucked in to a fabulous morning tea.

and a lovely parting gift from Ellen.

Another fantastic function !

ANNUAL MEETING

Our yearly Annual Meeting is an important occasion.......

.... so the meeting was begun with items sung by our own choir.....
.
and ended with a solo performance by Rebecca our Choir Master

After the meeting the usual bountiful morning tea was served.

and friendships were renewed.

BROOKFIELD SHOWGIRLS

The usual team "saddled up" for catering duties at the Brookfield Show again this year.

Thanks for representing us all at Moggill CWA so well.
You're real champions!

CROCHET WORKSHOP 1

This morning a merry group of eager pupils gathered for the first of our Learn-to-Crochet Workshops and we were soon down to work with expert instructions from the very capable Tineka.

It wasn't long before there were cries of "Help" from all over the room and she was kept extremely busy giving lots of individual help and encouragement.

Scattered around the room were other capable helpers

Jocelyn retired to the background to KNIT !!

Some of us achieved very creditable results.....

and some of us had a little bit of trouble !!

We were sent off with homework.
Here are some examples of what we hope to be able to achieve by the end of the next workshop !!

Next workshop 22nd July. There is a $7 fee to cover hire of the hall.
Contact Helen E or Jocelyn for more information.

PS. Thanks Tineka and all her helpers
