ANNUAL MEETING

Yes, it's THAT time of year again!

Members gathered for the Annual Meeting of Moggill Branch of QCWA.

Our outgoing President delivered her Annual Report and it was interesting to hear of the huge number of things that our members have been involved over the last year.

Our new President

were all presented with their badges of office.

This competant group will be steering us towards a successful 2012-2013.

Special presentations were made........

and grateful thank-yous extended.

.......  and afterwards the VIPs as well as the members enjoyed a bit of fellowship and a delightful CWA style morning tea.

MAY SOCIAL DAY

As well as being our regular Social Day today was the day we held our Knitting Competition.
There were lots of quality entries.

 

 

 

 

Elsewhere sheets for birthing kits were being prepared

and more work was being done on items for the stall at Toowoomba

As usual a busy, chatty day.

Show and Tell brought out these beauties.

About 160 delighted guests attended our recent Soiree.

Looks like the usual highjinks took place.



It is always such a fun night.



There's always plenty to do backstage.



Of course our Choir was in fantastic voice.

BIGGEST MORNING TEA FOR CANCER

Yes, it's that time of year again.
This year we combined with the Bellbowrie Anglican Church to host the Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer.
Morning tea was set up in our Bellbowrie Anglican Church and deliveries were made all around the suburb.



There was heaps of donated yummy food.

 

 

Of course there were raffles too.

 

 

and some special breast cancer themed cakes !!!!

The regular Social Day continued at the hall with our morning tea delivered in cute little boxes.
