FINAL CRAFT DAY 2011
It was business as usual on the last craft day of 2011.
There was much discussion about where the time has gone !
A lot of loose ends were being tied up......

We've all enjoyed eachother's company through a very productive year.
Some projects to finish and some finalised for the year.

FINAL SOCIAL DAY and COOKING COMPETITION
Where has the year gone?
Last Thursday was the last Social Day of the year and also the day of the branch Cooking Competition.
Everyone was there early, settling into their preferred group activity.
The entries in the Cooking Competition were submitted to the Judge's scrutiny ....

carried out very capably by Eunice. She had quite an audience while she explained the technicalities.

Very clever indeed !!
Later in the day Christine recounted the presentation of the quilt to Marian Mudra as a retirement gift.
This quilt is made up of flower blocks from all over the state.
It was presented at the recent Conference and very gratefully received by Marian.
It is an absolute work of art.
One of our members, Linda, who is an absolute whiz at quilting did a huge amount of the preparation and final finishing ....
and our contribution was this ribbon embroidery creation by Ellen who is rapidly earning a wonderful reputation for her beautiful handwork.
