STARTING OFF THE YEAR

We began 2014 in our usual way -
with a birthday party for our branch
complete with cake !

It was great to get together again after the break .
the noise level in the room was LOUD  with all the happy chat and laughter !

It was also lovely to see some new faces amongst them.

It wasn't long before everyone was back into routine.

On the first Craft Day Liz taught us how to make a lovely bag.

Her lovely , simple design soon had the members sewing happily

while at another table some members were busy making bunting.

Of course there is always Show and Tell

Stay tuned to see the completed bags next month.

Such a talented group !

OUR CHOIR

A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT THE MOGGILL CWA CHOIR

The Moggill Singers Choir commenced in 2006 and still operates with it’s original members plus some new additions over the years. Our new conductor this year is Emily Taylor who is a qualified music and singing teacher.

Practice is held each Monday evening (7-9pm at the St Michael’s & All Saints Church, 3407 Moggill Road, Moggill which is next door to the Moggill State School).

The first half hour of practice is dedicated to musical instruction and warm up exercises then practice until 9.00pm.

The choir holds local Musical Soiree’s each year and also visits local retirement villages and participates in other local activities.

We would welcome new members and no audition is necessary.
If you love music and singing just come along! It is a very enjoyable evening.
All enquiries to Geraldine on 3202 5600 or 0412 747 990.
